The Opportunity:
An internationally renowned luxury interior design practice is seeking an experienced Regional FF&E Director to join its Bangkok studio, supporting an extensive portfolio of high-end residential, branded residential and luxury hospitality projects across Asia Pacific.

With active projects in Australia, Japan, Vietnam, China, Malaysia and Singapore, the practice is looking for a highly accomplished FF&E specialist who can provide design expertise, technical guidance and project support across the full FF&E scope.

This is a senior regional position working closely with interior design teams to ensure the successful development, coordination and delivery of FF&E packages to the highest international standards.

The Role:
The Regional FF&E Director will oversee and support FF&E design across multiple projects, from early design development through detailed specifications, bespoke furniture design, sourcing, procurement coordination and installation.

Working alongside Design Directors, project teams and specialist suppliers, the successful candidate will ensure that FF&E packages are creatively considered, technically resolved, commercially appropriate and successfully delivered.
The role requires a combination of sophisticated design knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, strong technical expertise and extensive experience managing FF&E across complex luxury projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide regional FF&E expertise and project support across luxury residential, branded residential and hospitality developments.
• Oversee the full FF&E design process, from initial concepts and material selections through detailed documentation, procurement coordination and final installation.
• Work closely with interior design teams to develop furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, decorative elements and bespoke FF&E packages that complement the overall design intent.
• Review and guide FF&E selections, specifications, schedules, material palettes and detailed documentation across multiple projects.
• Oversee the design development and technical resolution of bespoke furniture, custom joinery-related FF&E and specialist decorative elements.
• Provide specialist knowledge of luxury furniture brands, manufacturers, materials, finishes, upholstery, craftsmanship and fabrication techniques.
• Support project teams in identifying appropriate suppliers, manufacturers and specialist craftspeople across international markets.
• Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers on pricing, lead times, samples, shop drawings, production requirements and quality standards.
• Review prototypes, mock-ups, material samples and production drawings to ensure design intent and quality expectations are achieved.
• Monitor FF&E design progress across multiple projects, identifying technical, programme or procurement challenges and supporting their resolution.
• Provide guidance on FF&E budgets, value engineering and alternative specifications without compromising design quality.
• Support quality control throughout manufacturing, delivery and installation, including the resolution of defects and design-related issues.
• Establish and maintain consistent FF&E documentation, specifications and quality standards across the regional project portfolio.
• Mentor and support FF&E designers and wider interior design teams, sharing specialist technical knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional studios to ensure effective coordination, resource allocation and timely delivery of FF&E packages.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Furniture Design or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in FF&E design and delivery within internationally recognised luxury interior design practices.
• Strong portfolio of luxury residential, branded residential and/or five-star hospitality projects.
• Proven experience managing the complete FF&E process from design development through procurement coordination and installation.
• Exceptional knowledge of luxury furniture, decorative lighting, fabrics, finishes, bespoke manufacturing and international suppliers.
• Strong technical understanding of furniture construction, materials, fabrication methods, specifications and quality control.
• Experience coordinating complex FF&E packages across multiple international projects.
• Sound understanding of FF&E budgets, procurement processes, production programmes and installation requirements.
• Ability to review and resolve detailed FF&E documentation, specifications, samples and shop drawings.
• Experience supporting and mentoring FF&E designers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing project priorities.
• International project experience, ideally across Asia Pacific.
