Regional Sector Leader, APAC Data Centres

FORM Careers is partnering with a leading global design and architecture practice to appoint a Sector Leader focused on the Data Centre sector across Asia Pacific.
  
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving regional growth, building strategic client relationships, and positioning the business within one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.
  
The Role:
The selected candidate will lead the identification, development, and conversion of new business opportunities across APAC. Operating at both strategic and execution levels, this individual will play a key role in shaping regional growth plans and securing major projects within the data centre space.
  
This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in a high-growth sector, shaping the expansion of a globally recognised design practice across Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will play a central role in driving market presence, building strategic partnerships, and securing landmark projects in the data centre space.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth across the APAC region, with a focus on hyperscale and enterprise data centre clients.
• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with regional and global leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, operators, investors, and key stakeholders in the data centre ecosystem.
• Lead major pursuits, including positioning, proposal strategy, and client presentations.
• Collaborate closely with design, technical, and sector leaders to align opportunities with capability.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.  

Requirements:

• 10–15+ years of experience in business development within architecture, design, engineering, or related sectors.
• Strong track record of winning large-scale projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector.
• Established network across APAC, particularly with developers, operators, and consultants.
• Experience operating at a regional or global level.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
