The Opportunity
Are you an Interior Designer who enjoys the creative process as much as seeing a project come together?

FORM Careers is recruiting for an established international design studio in Singapore, offering the opportunity to work on a portfolio of exceptional hospitality developments across the region.

Working alongside accomplished designers and experienced project leaders, you will contribute to the design of luxury hotels, resorts and lifestyle environments where attention to detail, materiality and the overall guest experience are central to every project.

This position would suit a talented designer who combines a strong aesthetic sensibility with practical design skills and is looking to develop their experience within a highly creative, internationally focused studio.

The Role

• Contribute to the development of interior concepts for luxury hospitality and lifestyle projects.
• Explore design ideas through mood boards, visual references, material studies, spatial layouts and three-dimensional models.
• Develop guestroom, public area and amenity designs, considering the relationship between aesthetics, functionality and the guest experience.
• Produce design presentations, drawings and visual material for client meetings and internal reviews.
• Progress approved concepts into coordinated design development packages and detailed documentation.
• Research materials, finishes, furniture and design elements that support the overall project identity.
• Coordinate with FF&E specialists, architects, consultants and suppliers to ensure consistency across the design.
• Assist with technical detailing, drawing reviews and design coordination during later project stages.
• Work closely with senior designers to maintain the quality and consistency of the design throughout the project.

About You

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3 to 8 years of experience within an interior design or architectural practice.
• Previous involvement in hotel, resort, hospitality or other high-end interior projects is highly desirable.
• A portfolio demonstrating creative concept development, spatial planning, material selection and design development.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Additional experience with Rhino, Enscape or D5 Render would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of interior materials, finishes and detailing.
• Strong presentation skills and an ability to communicate design ideas visually.
• A collaborative approach, good organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple design deliverables.
• Additional language capabilities and experience with regional projects would be welcomed.
